Reflections on identity

'I is a beautiful illusion, make up on the face of God, clothes for the naked Mystery.
I is a guardian who forgot what she was guarding.'
Reflections on identity
My age, my gender, my nationality do not define me.
My age, my gender, my nationality are not obstacles to freedom.

My profession and my social status do not define me.
My profession and my social status are not obstacles to wisdom.

I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, a friend…
I am only a woman.

I am a yogi, a meditator, a dancer, a teacher, a lover of music and books…
I am only human.

My possessions will outlive me.
I have nothing, I only borrow.

I’ve been hurt.
I forgive.

I have hurt.
I am sorry.

My body is limited, my mind is not.
My heart is free.

All I ever did brought me here.
There are no mistakes, only consequences to causes.

I is a beautiful illusion, make up on the face of God, clothes for the naked Mystery.
I is a guardian who forgot what she was guarding.

I is a bridge.
To You, to all.
I is You.
